This is definitely going into my favorites no questions ask. I really do like the smile/facial expression on Barriss and how she is touching Ahsoka leg. She's like you can't have any of this. Ahsoka is really great, she's calm having her arm around Barriss just a regular day. Love this art keeping doing what your doing obi have a great day

For some reason... I'm picturing these two, dressed exactly like this, same pose, same about everything, except under an umbrella at the beach. Would certainly fit their attire, no?

If I pulled back the cam just a bit, you'd see the beach. But that will become more apparent in later renders I think.

Just out of curiosity, what's still in progress? I have my suspicions, but I'm wondering what you're still focusing on.
I like Barriss' smile. It's fun to see the stoic and reserved characters breaking free of their facades and displaying prominent emotion like happiness.

The scene looks very well balanced between the two of them. I'm curious to see where in this image your OC will be showing up.
The environment was my guess. I think you're assessment is spot-on about it being meant for toon renders, but you've done great work with it thus far. If you're looking to manage your time, my opinion is that the back right needs the most TLC. The environment looks relatively even in quality until we come to that big, seemingly flat wall of green with either wood or stone to the left of it.
