I promise they aren’t in a relationship lol, but I was inspired to do this drawing and name it “call you mine” this is actually a song sung by bebe rexha and I think it fits their dynamic.

Knockout come's back from his mission with the group, he was moody cause he had Bumblebee and Arcee thrown at him by a con, literally making him feel like pillow to lighten their fall. and Kayla waited patiently in the room till he got back, while he was gone, she did "research" on human emotion and what signs of love are " things you find on google, like diagnosing your symptoms from WebM.D lol, or how to know if your crush likes you back", she also played a racing game with jack and miko and cooked them lunch.

Kayla lays down on the bed and is reading a book
Knockout enters the room
Knockout: Well, Hello~~ Wait ... have you moved at all from here since this afternoon? your so lazy
Kayla Looks at him from over her book: Hello, And yes I have actually, I got bored after a while so I went to do research, socialized, and cooked
Knockout walks over to pick her up
Knockout: Ah,well I guess you have been busy
Kayla: And what about you? how did your mission go?
He makes a face
Knockout: It was terrible, we got side tracked from our original mission because bumblebee and ultramagnus saw some suspicious activity in the perimeter we were working until we were ambushed, I didn't even want to go in! but I was dragged into it anyway! I had Arcee and bumblebee both thrown at me like I was a pillow to cushion their fall.. it took me forever to buff out my last scratch
He pouts
Kayla baby talks him: Awe, poor baby~~
Knockout makes a straight face: thats not funny Kayla
Kayla blows a raspberry: You"ll be fine, I will buff you later... right after we continue where we left off
She winks referring to this afternoon
He smirks
Knockout: I would love to, is it okay if I just want to relax for a bit
Kayla: oh, of course, thats okay
He notices that she has a new dress
Knockout: huh..
Kayla: what?..
Knockout: your dress.. its very pretty, is It new?
Kayla smiles: your a little late on noticing
she giggles
Knockout facepalms: ughh, I completely forgot that I promised to take you out tonight.. That's why your dressed so nicely, im so sorry
Kayla pats his palm: its fine knockout, you've had a busy day, I can understand if your too exhausted to go out
Knockout: nope, were going out
Kayla: its okay knockout, get some rest
He looks at her
Knockout: ive made up my mind dearest.. dont worry about me.. now, are you ready to go then?
Kayla shrugs: I tried, but im ready if you are
Knockout: hey ratchet, we will be back in an hour or so
Ratchet: alright, just be careful and dont stay out to late knockout, and remember, keep your location on

Knockout looks at ratchet and then at Kayla whos eyebrows raised from the curiosity of the topic of their convo
knockout acknowledges and nods his head
He transforms and leaves base

Knockout and Kayla drive for awhile until they hit woods, knockout pulls into a clearing and drives through the road thats hidden by the trees
he then transforms and walks the rest of the way
Kayla: its so dark, where are we going?
Knockout: well, I did promise to take you out, but I also want to relax, just for a little bit
He continues walking till he hits a clearing
Kayla looks up and sees how pretty the stars look
Kayla: wow, this is beautiful knockout
Knockout smile: I knew you would like it, its peaceful
he puts Kayla down and sits down to lay on his back
she sits as well next to him
he looks over to her and pats his chest
Knockout: you can come up here you know? instead of getting grass stains on your dress
Kayla nods and walks over and gentle climbs so she doesn't scratch anything
she lays down on his chest, its warm, like a calming type of warm
Kayla: hey knockout.. Can I ask you something
Knockout: of course, anything
Kayla: what did ratchet mean by remember our conversation.... was it about me?
Knockout sighs: it was..
Kayla: oh, is that bad...
Knockout: No, of course not, it was just a discussion
Kayla: what did he say...
Knokout: nothing for you to worry about dear
Kayla raises her eyebrow: knockout... I know when your hiding stuff from me.. tell me what's wrong
Knockout: well… ratchet told me that.... if I have feelings for you, they would only get in the way, not to mention that... I will live longer then you... he told me the last thing either of us needs is for our hearts to break if something does happen to either one of us...
Kayla thinks of what to say..

knockouts eyes widen: Of course, isn't it obvious?
he says sarcastically
Kayla giggles: your right, I should've guessed that since you told Vince I was your gitlfriend
Knockout: because I didn't like him putting his hands on you
Kayla laughs: ah, so you'd go as far as lying to keep me to yourself... interesting
she winks
Knockout begins to laugh: ohhhh I see what your doing, your saying the exact Thing I told you this morning
Kayla: that is correct
they both begin to laugh
Kayla: hey knockout..
Knockout: yes Kayla?
Kayla: even if our lifespans are two different things.... yours long, and mines short... I want to spend it with you... because...
Knockout: what is it Kayla..
Kayla: I wanna spend my short human life with you because... I love you...
knockout smiles and looks down at Kayla whos looking back at him
Knockout: then allow me to call you mine..
Kayla rolls on her stomach and and brings herself to his face
Kayla smiles: always and forever
and she kisses him on his face leaving little lipstick marks on it
