Description
So, again a picture for my project with . The two characters don't have a name yet, the human is one of the protagonists while the cat is a slave he rescued and later became the dearest person he had, and vice versa. Not sure the scene is 100% canon, but I had the urge to draw something "cute & gruesome"
Since I have some problem with drawing recently I'm glad I managed to complete this, it could be better but it's not that bad
The only things that bother me are the grainy look and the changed colors caused by the camera and some distorted line (like the bedrail ornament) due to the slightly folded paper. Enjoy! ^^I don't think this need Mature Content, it's just a little blood and she's being taken care of, anyways tell me what you think. Also, any suggestion or critique is more than welcome!

L'attenzione ai dettagli in questa scena mi lascia veramente senza parole.
Prima di tutto, adoro l'ambiente, le texture e i dettagli che riempiono il disegno <3 Come lo schienale di quel letto e la bottiglia di vino (<-- con cui sta disinfettando le ferite? Da farmacista quale sono, adoro questo particolare <3)
Le pieghe dei vestiti, l'effetto pelo, i capelli mossi del tizio e il sangue sulle ferite, sono davvero ben fatti!
Per non parlare poi della scena in sé: hai scelto un tema molto delicato e secondo me hai reso molto bene l'idea di fiducia e di bontà gratuita 
Scrivere di queste cose è sempre molto difficile! La schiavitù sarà uno dei temi centrali anche della mia storia, ma al contempo non voglio pressare troppo su di essa quando scrivo, perché si tratta di un argomento piuttosto sensibile
E scusami, una domanda veramente cretina: come fai a tracciare delle linee dritte, come quelle dei bordi del tavolo o del letto? Ricordo che mi hai detto che utilizzi un pennello per inchiostrare, c'è dunque un modo per fare delle linee perfettamente dritte con un pennello? O.O Non penso che il righello sia un'opzione, o si?

Il tema è delicato sì, ma allo stesso tempo può essere "affascinante". L'idea di avere un essere umano (o comunque umano dal punto del vista della persona) ridotto alla stregua di un oggetto e i problemi etici che questo comporta credo possano portare a buone storie e riflessioni, specialmente se poi si considerano le emozioni e i pensieri del malcapitato/a in catene. Sono curioso di vedere che cosa salterà fuori dalla tua storia, se è come le precedenti sarà un capolavoro! Personalmente preferisco concentrarmi sulle conseguenze della schiavitù, quindi in un certo senso evito di "pressare" pure io. ^^
E congratulazioni!!! 
Dipende. Per disegnare I muri Qui ad esempio ho uasto il pennello con santa pazienza, dà quell'effetto lievemente tremolino che coi muri va anche bene
(comunque per la cronaca, visto che sono un genio a volte, ho davvero usato il righello col pennello XD E' finita in lacrime amare!)

I imagine she would be wondering why he would ever help someone like her- but with wounds like that I doubt she would question it too much. I think her expression goes well with that. She seems to feel awkward that a human would ever care about her in any way shape or form. Poor girl

Well, she was a slave, it was not her fault if she got in that situation. I think he's just feeling ashamed for what people of his race did, I don't know what she's thinking, probably she's very confused by his kindness.

This caught my eye as I was browsing through. It's nice to see a depiction where a human is caring for an anthro -- instead of them fighting or prejudiced against one another at the least. Indeed it's pretty rare. Even in this setting we are working there are lots of prejudice and tension (to say the least) among the races but not everyone share the same opinion on the matter.

The colours are ok, specially since you know to get a pic from a camera is different than by using a scanner (most of the time at least). But it gives a different and nice atmosphere to the overall image.

Also... poor kitty :c I am glad she has a friend to help her though.. I hope she never has to go through such a thing again. I am actually very interested to see their story; like how did he save her and what did she do before she got whipped, and so on.
Darkening the edges is a cool effect for this picture, in a way makes the viewer feel like they are 'peeking into the scene' making the atmosphere of the picture more intimate.

Well, she was a serf bound to a landlord's land until he decided to sell part of his "property" into town. When she was sold she also lost her daughter, who remained back (a certain little blue eyed kitty ....) and after that she fell in the hands of a very abusive owner, who mistreated her for years, mostly because she proved pretty weak and ill.
Our "hero" saw her like that and did the most heroic rescue, he simply bought her!

I know it's confusing, especially since I'm posting pictures without any background story.
The cat here is Shadi's mother (the blue eyed little kitten), she becomes good friend with the human and, since she's pretty weak and ill, she asks him to find her daughter and take care of her. (she lost her daughter when she was sold about 10 years before and they found tracks of her only after all those years.)
And so the human meets the little cat and the lizard I draw usually and they can go around and live their adventures together! XD

Yeah, I don't think a little blood needs a mature content filter. Mature content for gore is more for like decapitation, evisceration, protruding bones, severed limbs, dying creatures lying in bloody puddles (DA says "Horror and Macabre") Basically, stuff that's specifically intended to draw a sharp, guttural reaction of disgust from a viewer. This picture arouses compassion in me. Not the "I think I'm gonna puke" feeling. I suppose this might bother a really squeamish person, but we don't put mature content filters on pictures of spiders even though they bother lots of people, so I wouldn't worry about it. You did an excellent job capturing the emotions of this picture, which is the real highlight here, and the first thing I notice, not the blood.
