Okay now that I'm more properly awake I want to correct my previous comment. (Darn you DA, why don't you have an edit button?) I didn't realize at first that this one was part 3 of 3. So I went through and played the other two. Now here's a better summary of my impressions.
My first point kind of still stands. He falls for you/the reader rather quickly to the point it's strongly suggested he slept with you on the very first night. And this is meant to be 2P? I would think he'd take even longer to warm up to someone than 1P Japan, but that could just be my opinion. I'm not completely sure if the Japanese still take the same approach to love in the present day, but through history their attitudes toward it has been shaped by the concept of "mono no aware." If you look that up you'd probably find something else that can explain it better than I can.
My second point... with all three parts it's a bit longer than I originally thought, so that's good. But in the overall plot you BARELY do anything with him. I feel like there is a lot of unexploited potential here.
My third point is somewhat altered now. I see that the options do work in the other two parts, but not this one. However.... It still could have been done a bit better. Instead of instant "game over" for picking the wrong one, why not a branching storyline? For example if you try to not go further into the temple-like place, the reader could turn around and find that Japan snuck up behind them (like the ninja that he is XD) and go from there. At the very least, for the ones that are spoken responses, it would be interesting to see different dialogue from Japan. There are places when the option that seems most respectful/polite is the one that results in a "game over" and that just seems...off. Given this is a 2P, one would expect him to respond more negatively to the less polite options.
That being said I do feel this is an interesting concept for an xReader, and it has potential to be much better. Also a tip for MMD, if you used still renders for the scenes. Turn on physics before rendering the image, and you won't have awkward things like the tassels of Japan's shoulders sticking out at funky angles that go through his arm in some scenes.

Came across this by random and decided to give it a try for the heck of it. I was...not impressed. The images and flash itself were mostly alright, it's the plot I have issues with. Here is what I think needs work or was...an issue...
First, it felt forced. Just... You're there on business, have selective amnesia for a very vague reason, and somehow in just a few days he's head over heels for you? He's over 2600 years old. If the reader is really "The One" for him, it would likely take him time to realize that. He's probably seen many other people who could possibly be "The One" for him over the years. Why is the reader so special?
In much of Japan's past culture such as their literature, love was not a blissful "union of two souls for life" it was considered something fickle and fleeting that they felt would eventually fade like the cherry blossoms in the spring. Lovers would often engage in a relationship knowing it would ultimately end in sadness and heartache because it couldn't last. If you think this is a disappointing view to take, blame the influences of Buddhism.
To someone as long-lived as Japan, the love of a human reader would be even shorter lived as he goes into the situation KNOWING he's going to outlive his precious lover. Even a romance that lasts for the rest of the reader's life (let's be generous and say the reader makes it to 100 before kicking the bucket, and they're in their early 20s when first meeting since the reader is old enough that governments are asking the reader to do jobs) that's only about 80 years together. And that's just a drop in the bucket to someone Japan's age.
Second, it seemed a bit short. You wake up, talk to him, get a kiss and leave, there's a timeskip and you come back (again for no specified reason) and he wakes up from a nap, the end? I would hardly call that a "date" when you barely get to do anything with the other person. My personal idea of a date, especially with Japan, would involve a little more than that. A trip to an onsen perhaps. Or touring a few of the more beautiful locations in Japan (going to a hanami party if it's springtime for example). Or even just hanging out at his place playing videogames together.
Third, what is the point of having other options if you can only pick one of them? Every single time I had a 'choice' in the game only one of the options was clickable. Rather than frustrating players with this it might be simpler to just remove the choices and have only the NEXT button.
