Description

This was my first try at drawing Bubbles in a new style. Well, technically not my first, I did a couple of concept sketches before this one, but this was the first one that looked alright.

The goal I had set for myself was to alter the style in such a way that it still looked like Bubbles (unlike many anime pictures of the PpG which don't remind me of them at all until I have to read that it's supposed to be them) and that it enhanced her overall cuteness. Well, it's still basically Bubbles, but I don't think she looks a whole lot cuter. The distance between the two eyes basically screams "I need a nose" and the eyes don't really work like this either.

But at least they're not anime eyes.

Amazingly, I finished inking and colouring this picture on the same day I started on it, which is today. (Pats himself on the back)

I actually started on my second try before this one, but I came to a standstill while working on it, so I decided to just do this one before it.
