So, I recently finished Charlotte and wanted to watch something sorta similar to that, I looked for recommendations and I saw Kokoro Connect. I said "okay, this is that anime that has the body switching thing, right? Maybe, I should watch this next." And I did, and I loved it, for some reason I really love this anime now, I find the characters funny and very lovable (especially Inaban, who had the most character development in the entire show)
I also found out, while I was watching the show, that it's not just body switching that this anime has, It has many phenomenons, as they call it. And someone or rather something was causing this for their entertainment.
So this drawing is kinda just a jokey type fan art. It's from the "Kakorandom Arc"( hence it's name), the phenomenon in this one, is that they get reverted back to their younger selves for a certain amount of time and when they revert back to their current age the memories and emotions they felt from the past resurfaces. And there was this one scene from this arc that stuck with me even after the show(because I found it so funny), it's when Inaba and Aoki got turned into children for the first time, and Nagase and Yui saw child-Inaba and they hugged her (because she was so cute) and young Inaba got so scared and was about to cry while she was being hugged by Nagase and Yui.
Hahaha. So this is the, sort of, recreation of that scene.
I found that scene hilarious, especially knowing that Inaba, at least for most of the series, was shown as tough and cool and blunt, so for her to act that way was funny and adorable to me, especially when she ran to hide behind Taichi because she got so scared. Hahaha.
So, I really enjoyed this show, and is considering to read the novels, but I'm not sure if it'll be as entertaining as the anime, because it doesn't have the elements that the anime has(Voice acting, visual sceneries, etc). So if any of you know the show, and have read the novels, can you recommend reading the novels or should I just not bother reading the novels? Let me know, because I'd like to hear a fellow fan's opinion.
