Roses are a flowers. They are beautiful no matter the color. Yellow, white, blue, black, red, pink, purple. You give them to lovers, to the people you adore, to the people you love. You put them in vases and plant them in gardens. You look at them and think 'oh, how pretty'.

But everyone remembers the thorns.

They can have them removed in a flower shop. They can be worn down and taken off. They can be removed and broken. Their defense can be taken.

But that's not until after we were pricked by them.
