Description
The Bermuda TriangleA collaboration with the super awesome Jan van Lysebettens
This one took us (Β’mindfuckx et moi) ages to complete. Well, not ages, but we've been working on and off on this for 7 months! There is still some stuff that would need improvement in a future collaboration, but this piece is, in our opinion, finished. So we won't change a thing
- Terragen by Jan
- Postwork in photoshop cs by both of us

The Triangle looks like some sort of ancient superweapon or something...

That would be nice. I could use the money, but I'm afraid it's not gonna happen. Thanks though

I really enjoy looking at this, so much in fact, I made it my wallpaper. It would be so awsome if this was a true wallpaper though.
Btw, I really like your whole gallery, you do such awsome work!

I REALLY want to do this sort of thing for a career so its very inspirational
how was it created?
did you render all of the land in terregen? is the plane and planet real? or painted?
its so amazing, please can you give me a breif outline of how you created it?

Ehhh well, most of the lang was rendered in terragen, but you can see the original render without postwork here. [link]
The rest is added by painting and some photos. The plane is real from a photo, but it was adjusted a lot to make it fit the lighting and to add things like the thingy the bombs come from and all that. The planet is not real and was made completely in photoshop (Have you ever seen a planet like that?)
I hope that answers your questions.
Thanks for your comment

I can appreciate just how long this must have taken. I mentioned this already on mindfuckx's version, but in case you don't see it, I just recently watched the 3-part made-for-tv series of "The Triangle" which you can read about if yo want, here: [link] - I found it an enjoyable watch; if you haven't yet, but clearly like the concept, then I would highly recommend it. It's from the director of the first 2 X-Men movies and Superman Returns movie, Bryan Singer, just FYI.
