Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, it's pretty much the last holiday that is not materialistic-oriented and the importance is instead with gathering, appreciating each other, and eating together. As much fun as I love spooky season, I'm becoming salty with America's major holidays and how they're starting to feel materialistic and shallow. Even Thanksgiving is being overwritten by the Black Friday shopping that is encroaching onto Thanksgiving day itself... Maybe my broken social circuit is why I really don't get it, but I think I prefer it being broken.
