A full look on Strider AU Robian look after 4 years after the events of Sonic forces, when he was 14 at the time, and picking up the mantle of Warrior of Ice.

Short story as to why he's like this: when he was around like 5-6 years old, Adonis and his forces raided his family's home. In order to protect him, his father pushed him into a chamber of a prototype roboticizor to hide him (which successful worked) before being assume killed by Adonis, as Strider looks back in horror.

This form is much different from the roboticizing process on Sonic's world. As both joints around the arms and legs stimulate growth in age via energy, and the ability to have freewill and able to eat and drink normally like a regular person. The only difference is that they gain more endurance and heighten abilities, depending on the metal used during the process.
