Back in 2020, I did a series of images about Superman in the Marvel universe. I thought it was high time for something similar and putting a character in the world of DC. I thought about various Marvel characters to use but none felt right. So I turned to my favorite manga, Berserk. So here we have Guts in DC Part 3
Guts in DC Part 3 Warning on a Wednesday:
Guts had been working sometime with The Outlaws and had become close to many of it's members though there were those like Artemis he still had issues with. The group had been taking on many jobs for the people of the small European country Markovia. Markovia was in a state of civil unrest paving the way for criminals and other nations to use the opportunity for their own benefits. The outlaws were helping take down gangs and villains. Many began to see the Outlaws as real heroes. However their biggest challenge was just around the corner.

The Markovia governments had asked the Outlaws to help reclaim an old military outpost. Supposedly a gang had taken over the site with the help of some monster that had been slaughtering the soldier's they've sent to reclaim it. Guts decided upon himself the charge headfirst into battle. Inside he found the so called monster Solomon Grundy. However something was different about the beast. Grundy was was a typical criminal who had been turned into a hulking zombie thanks to a magical swamp. Grundy used to be a big brute who just worked and was used by other villains. Yet now he told not only over the bodies of soldiers but the gang that he worked for. Grundy had become more intelligent and was sporting more demonic features. And worst of all he was looking for a fight.

Guts fought as best he could even managing to wound Grundy but Guts was only human and Grundy was starting to get the best of him. Luckily Red Hood and the other Outlaws came to his rescue. Yet even they had trouble against the beast. Jason and Guts were serious wounded in the fight, but right before Grundy went in for the kill the monster saw something around Jason's neck. With a sinister smile he looked at Guts and gave a grim warning. A warning that Guts would die an unavoidable death when Jason's dream was shattered. And then he sported demonic wings and left. Leaving Guts to ponder what his future awaited him.
