Not gonna lie this is the only redesign that's impressed me for what I've been seen on Brainstorm.

Making his face visible makes him more human though.
You can see his emotions. Anger, pain.
Hiding all that and leaving it to subjective interpretation, imagination, was what made Vader as character fantastic and iconic to this day.
(That, and the huge silly switches on his chest)
Of course, that makes it all the harder to transport such emotions directly with a hidden Vader.
