I love the shoulders, an the breathing apparatus, but definitely not the visor. My screens stops at the breather part for me to write this comment and it is stunning and perfect and everything.
Vader was unreadable. If you failed him, you couldn't know if he'd decide you were responsible for it and kill you, or if he'd judge that your failure was beyond your control --and spare you. He'd give orders to his troops, and nobody could fathom the purpose behind those orders. You can read someone's eyes, understand that there is a reasoning behind those eyes.
More importantly, Vader was inhuman. As far as his men were concerned, he was cold, infaillible, unreachable. A suit that let see that he's made of flesh, worse, burnt and wounded flesh, breaks this impression completely.
That's my vision of Darth Vader, anyways, I don't really know how you see him.

yeah totally agree, I go for this way because I wanted give dramatism and creepy with his eyes, really when I saw the movies and saw the face of darth vader, impact me a lot and I wanted represent this

I like how you still kept the shape of the helmet somewhat like the original Vader or at least a storm trooper helmet. Incredible work.

Not a bad design, but I feel like some sort of cold, expressionless mask is almost essential to Darth Vader as a character. The original mask makes Darth Vader something inhuman and mysterious. An unreadable monster. Otherwise, he's just another ruthless villain that talks funny. A wide, clear visor may be more practical, but far less terrifying.
Although I must say, this is better than a tinted visor. That would be too generic. I suppose that the presence of expressionless eyes specifically is important to the design of the original mask.

What if... I don't know anything about design or drawing, but what if the glass was tinted, but not plain black? With a motif, some shapes on it to make it less dull and more intimidating than just an empty black visor.

While very cool and good looking, I have a feel the George Lucas' version fit the character more.
The original made him seem less human, which is probably what he was aiming for.
