heya everyone, this is my latest practice piece a simple style swap between me and the gorillaz, and the character I have redrawn is ''2-D'' from their series of music videos. so in all cases this is new stuff for me I have never done this form of practice before... like ever, I haven't drawn in another persons style since starting my artistic line of practice and in terms of my style I wanted to do something new as well, now of course it's still my style but I wanted to lean into the cutesy side of things, smooth and clean lines exaggerated forms and making the characters seem very happy and bubbly. where as with the actual gorillaz style is much more uncanny tight and straight which gives their characters a really nice funny and in some ways creative look. I think this is the longest description I have ever written ...
