you would but shave the cap
of the thoughts that boil in my volatile mind
hold this thought and watch it melt
in your hands and fuse into distant memory
oh if you could only see
one piece of the kaleidoscope life
i live through daily for this thought
hold it up for but a seconds worth
you know in the end it all ends up expelling from
your vulnerable ill mind
what if you could hold this thought
like you hold the the politics of our time
like you hold the inebriating poison
this thought that you would but die for
if indeed you knew its true value
its true intention
its true nature
if you only knew
