Fog troopers are the standardized forward forces for gathering resources, protecting outposts and extracting potential troops within the fog, their education is rigorous and specialized to withstand the worst situations that can occur while passing through the fog. The equipment is standardized for each soldier regardless of their rank, advanced equipment can only be obtained through specializations, the soldier has a standard combat backpack to carry a limited number of resources in case the soldier is killed in acction and the equipment is unrecoverable or looted. Only in cases of prolonged extraction, the squad leader can request a pack mule from the Uruz transport that has the necessary resources for a 7-day walk. The request is only accepted if the location of the squad is in the range of action of an outpost.

The troopers are armed with an standardized Mk-1 assault rifle with a silencer; in case of an extended exit the squad leader can request modified MK-1´s with grenade launchers. the standard helmet is equipped with thermal and night vision in addition the soldier has filters and a minimum supply of three hours of oxygen in their tanks allowing the soldier to resist and see in the fog even in the dense miasma.
