Obphenes are often seen as the the opposite of Catentions. Obphenes are believed to be a descendent of the ancient legendary underground.
They mostly inhabit the lakes deep down in the mines, which contains the purest groundwater in the region. Obphenes are very shy and prefer observing others than interacting with them. But if they they sense a person or a Pokemon who struggles with themselves, they come out and help them.
With its three pearls it absorbs the feelings of its loved ones, to make them feel better. It stores these emotions deep within its pearls. Alas these stored emotions sometimes exude into its body and making it gloomy.
