It's been nearly two months now since Ms. Belle underwent the treatment to return to a fully fledged Human. Since then, a lot has happened. As I'd already mentioned, Dr. Grey had been suspended for his actions, and was currently pending investigation by our board. Dr. Masters was under scrutiny for several behavioural claims as well as a few cases of malpractices. Dr. Summers is a wonderful doctor and the clients all seem to love her, but in truth, she is still young and she is still inexperienced. Having Dr. Ros-uh... Dr. Penny with us has been fantastic, and the treatments and procedures she's been able to create have been remarkable. That being said, her demeanour is a little unpredictable, and relying on her in any senior position is not something the board are willing to do. In contrast, Ms. Belle has been out performing in her new role, happily assisting clients and helping them as their 'Graphical Technician'. It sounds like an odd job title, but designing peoples treatments and fur patterns and styles is a job we greatly needed assistance with. The board is completely happy with their decision to hire Ms. Belle. Now that her body is back to normal, she's been able to return home to her family too, and has resumed her life outside of the labs. Things seemed to be going well for her. At least until... well... last Tuesday night...

On Tuesday evenings, Ms. Belle plays Table Tennis for recreation as part of her college's team. She has confessed to me a few times she's not a very athletic person, but Table Tennis is fun and relaxes her. But last week... well... Apparently her body began to shift and change during a game. Her weight rapidly reduced, throwing her off balance. Her breasts began to swell. And that's when it happened. Her skin began to burst into blue patches of shiny blue rubber. Within a few moments, her body had reverted into the inflatable state she'd been stuck in months prior. As quick as she could, she rushed out of the sports hall, horrified of the idea of creating a scene and being noticed by her peers. In her panic, she called an old friend...

Now of course, we were unaware of all of this happening. That is at least until the laboratories doors were kicked open after hours by a rather disgruntled Dr. Grey, carrying a drained and worried Ms. Belle. His old office was soon turned on and full of light, as he carried her to his research lab and began to carry tests. Security were notified of the intrusion and before long, we were made aware of the situation. I'm pleased to say that at least no criminal charges are being drawn, and whilst we decide what to do, for the good of Ms. Belle, we're allowing Dr. Grey to continue his tests to find out what exactly caused this relapse with Ms. Belle. This experience has reminded me just how much Dr. Grey cares. Not just for Ms. Belle, but for all his clients. I mentioned this to the board, and was surprised to find that they agreed. The decision to reinstate Dr. Grey was (almost) unanimous. We'll tell him he has his job back in the morning...

As for Ms. Belle... Well, when I visited her this morning, I was surprised to find her in a completely Human state. With the exception of an air valve on her navel, much like her inflatable self. Dr. Grey explained to me that the initial test we subjected to Ms. Belle has severely impacted her genetics, and her bodies immune system keeps trying to return her to it. It took so long this first time as it was a learning process and her body was unsure how to cope. But now... Dr. Grey theorises that her body will change between Human and inflatable seemingly at random intervals. He's working on doing all he can to control when she can become Human and how long for. But as I understand it, it's a large amount of trial and error, and it seems she'll permanently have to spend time as an inflatable. But Dr. Grey tells me he refuses to give up on her. A good thing too, as at least now he's on the laboratory grounds with our consent!
