Description
It's not everyday that something or someone is able to surprise us here at the labs. In fact, in our line of work, it's incredibly rare. Now, in recent weeks, our company has been mentioned in the press a few times, usually in a positive light. That was until a few days ago. A mainstream media outlet wrote a story about us and blamed us for several weird phenomenon that were happening in an American town in a Southern state. It claimed that a failed experiment from out Labs was kidnapping people. People who were never being seen again. Now, we were sure we had absolutely nothing to do with this, but regardless, it resulted in further press showing up and asking questions. Suddenly we were being painted in this negative light. Our staff did their best to reassure them that this had absolutely nothing to do with us, and that we had never let anything dangerous into the public. We had zero connection with this American mystery. That being said, the press refused to light up. So, we explored our last option, and investigated. We contacted local law enforcement and explained our situation, and they agreed to let one of our representatives visit them to discuss some evidence that had been uncovered. Dr. Masters flew out there immediately, and before long, she was face to face with the previously mentioned evidence.Dr. Masters was presented with a rather battered and worn looking To Truck. A yellow painted wrecker that appeared to be from the mid-seventies. The law enforcement explained that the truck had been impounded when it was found parked outside a house that they were called too. Several witnesses had claimed the tow truck had been present at the disappearance of several citizens of the town, usually towing a vehicle that none of the witnesses recognised. The police were unable to find an owner for the truck, and so had impounded it. Since the truck had been impounded, a few of the disappeared victims had reappeared, usually babbling some crazy nonsense about transformations. It was this babbling that had resulted in our labs being targeted by the media. With hazy memories and an unclear story, law enforcement were stumped. With their consent, Dr. Masters was given permission to study the tow truck, an item that the victims seemed terrified of. What she discovered shocked us all.
Whilst examining the tow truck, Dr. Masters noticed a soft giggling from the vehicle. Further examination revealed that the tow truck seemed to be alive. Upon hours of study, the tow truck eventually revealed it's true nature. Not only did it seem to be alive, it seemed to be sentient. It began talking to Dr. Masters, and with some prompt, managed to transform into a Human form. The short brunette, who claimed to be called 'Bessie' stated that she was a new species of car shifter, and that her and her 'Boss', a Monster Truck who went by the name of 'Junka' were trying to help her species grow and flourish. To do this, they needed to (as she explained it) borrow the DNA of humans. She also explained that all the people would be returned, they just needed to perfect the reversal procedure. Dr. Masters, curious about all of this, was allowed to return Bessie home, where she met the red headed Junka. For the last few weeks she's been working with them, trying to understand how they came into existence and how she could help them in a safe, and legal manner.

It feels weird knowing that 2B-Labs isn't the only group interested in tf. But it is also nice too.
