...Slapping the button to close the cell before the Drones had even finished falling.All the same, she bounced back and into a fighting stance, watching them closely as the bars slammed into place and locked the Drones into her former prison. They staggered upright and began to reach out through the bars, still trying to get at their target...but if they had the strength to bend the metal struts they didn't try. Any more than they went for the control panel as TK herself had moments before. The Drones seemed to be satisfactorily-trapped.
Breathing hard through smile-bared teeth, TK flashed them a mocking wave and then turned toward the doorway out, ready to move onward again. Once more, her blood sang with the thrill of victory...under-tinged with the slow burn of growing fatigue. And, hanging over it all, the specter of Sadarus' arrival, which TK could practically feel drawing closer with ever passing second. Still-and-all, she had defeated this particular challenge, and she allowed herself to bask in the moment...but not to allow that success to make her cocky, or slow her down, for even a second...
