Description
youtu.be/6jlLBs6YawMCome down on your own and leave your body alone
Somebody must change
You are the reason I've been waiting all these years
Somebody holds the key
Well, I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time
And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home
And I ain't done nothing wrong,
But I can't find my way home.

Thank you so much Rich....
So many many times we refuse to see that which is right in front
of our eyes,
refuse to hear what is being screamed
deny that we too are affected by life and society...
Appreciate this from you very much Rich

When sight is lost, the other senses often take over. I read Helen Keller's autobiography once. For her everything became tactile, felt, sensed, tasted, smelt. It must be frightening and fascinating at the same time...
Looking at your work, it looks as if she is about to start a new journey of exploration.

M.... Very nice....... The forest watches you conceiving patterns.... mixing colours...
laying images on canvas... Nothing pre-conceived... those images are born with pen
and brush in hand.... For you are blind to those completed images... until they are born....
To then be seen by greedy eyes of those that follow your lines and strokes....
And the quotes from Steve Winwood is the cherry on top....... beautiful...... b.

Thank you Bugs so much...
There was an old friend on DA at one time who has since passed away
and he told me The Song from Blind Faith always brought him to tears when
he heard it.Β The melody and the words are very moving for many people,
and not all about drugs and addiction but howΒ We all make mistakes, take wrong turns
and as a result, canβt find our way back home;
the important thing is to be sane, realize what is wrong and try to seek help.
It is still one of my Fav songs of all time, and this Lady in her Blindfold is aΒ
good representation of this song for me.

M... that's odd... Also had a dear friend on dA from Canada... He said
the same thing about this song... I believe Craig died of AIDs complications,
and bad choices with drugs... Very sad... b

Thank you so much ....
We live now in a much faster paced world then we did
in the 70's when songs were deeper and moreΒ
meaningful to many people. So happy that you enjoyed
seeing my work and loved the song....It is still one
of my fav songs that reaches deep into human
feelingsΒ

Always a pleasure, M! Β
This song is full of feelings ... And I agree with you, many songs of the 60's and 70's, not all, tried to send a deeper message than now.

I do agree exactly with you Roz...
If you ever saw the Movie about Beethoven
released in 1994 called Immortal Beloved,
we learn that the Genius Beethoven
did not need to hear his own music at the
end of his life to compose and play it for
his listeners...youtu.be/7fQG4CcoRuM
Thank you so much Roz

Thanks for the link, now I have to find the movie... I have Prime and Netflix and a few other accessible methods to start with. I saw Barenboim conducting Beethoven's 9th in the Albert Hall in London many years ago. However my heart belongs to Mahler... Here is a link for you in return:Β www.youtube.com/watch?v=tf5fM1β¦

There is a great film about Mahler starring Robert Powell, it is on Prime. Just called Mahler.... Β What I love about the Resurrection symphony is that it was written by a Jew, about a Jew (Jesus) and Then the fantastic Bernstein also a Jew so emotionally/passionately conducted... I have tears in my eyes each time I watch that clip. Many years agomI watched the complete performance on live TV... Been hooked ever since...
