Um.. I have a little question.
I have a kind of layout for how I want my journal to look, and I'm looking for someone to code it for me.
I'm still developing the look to perfect it the way I want it to be, but do you think you could help me out?
It seems you can do awesome journals, from looking at this one.
So.. If you've got the time, I'd love it if you could help

Okay, so I'm a total idiot when it comes to coding, so this question might be really dumb, but I can't find an answer.

Unless I paste the "journal body" section EVERY TIME I update my journal, that part of the code won't show up. What gives? Is there some way to make it "stick"? Am I doing something wrong? Or will I have to repaste it every time?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

33xiT In reply to MilkHermit [2008-05-23 00:51:42 +0000 UTC]

Hello,

Unfortunately, you have to repaste it everytimes you want to update your journal. I know it's very boring and that needs a lot of time to write a new journa entry.. But do not worry, I just finished the journal generator for the next journal CSS version.. Check out my last journal entry

I am sorry for that.

33xiT In reply to ShinyDragonfly [2008-05-21 23:39:08 +0000 UTC]

Hello!

You perfectly set it up Like it is written above in specificities:
Floating div used for friends div (hidden for IE7 users)
I didn't allow it for this Web browser because it bugs.. I'm sure I could fix it now but I'm working on the v6 version

Thanks for using it

oh this is a great css
I had fun times editting it (well, not really) xD
I've used it since a while ago and changed some stuffs like color, but now I have a new one modificated from this, I was wondering if it's necessary to give some permanent link/credit on the journal to the original version?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

33xiT In reply to pitonisa14 [2008-05-21 10:22:53 +0000 UTC]

Hello,

Thank you very much for using my CSS and now my CSS base.. If div name are again the same, then yes you need to keep the link to the original one. Unless you did not built it entierely, you have to aware people where were you inspired... It's the Creative Commons License
By the way, you are free to write it in dark to reduce the visibility but you can't hide it.

If you have questions, feel free to ask

Hello,

This deviation is in fact a file to download which contains others files. In theses files you will find two very important files which are the journal layout (the journal structure within you will insert your journal content) and the journal CSS (code lines which when will be associated to the journal layout will build what you see on the picture - but with your content).

Click on download on the left side and unzip the file. Open files and read instructions
