In an official Twitter post to celebrate LGBTQ + Pride Month, Nickelodeon confirmed that some of his characters belong to the LGBTQ + community. Among them we fear SpongeBob SquarePants (asexual), Korra from "Avatar: The Legend of Korra" (bisexual), and Schwoz Schwartz from ''Henry Danger'', a trans man in real life.

Although this is not new, since in 2005, the creator of the series (Stephen Hillenburg) had already confirmed that SpongeBob really is an asexual character, just like his best friend Patrick Star.

As an additional fact, this tweet by Nickelodeon generated a huge confusion in the press and social networks because at no time is it confirmed that this character is "homosexual".

En una publicación oficial de Twitter para celebrar el Mes del Orgullo LGBTQ+, Nickelodeon confirmó que algunos de sus personajes pertenecen a la comunidad LGBTQ+. Entre ellos tememos a Bob Esponja (asexual), Korra de ''Avatar: La leyenda de Korra'' (bisexual), y Schwoz Schwartz de ''Henry Danger'', un hombre trans en la vida real.

Aunque esto no es nuevo, ya que en el año 2005, el creador de la serie (Stephen Hillenburg) ya había confirmado que realmente Bob Esponja es un personaje asexual, al igual que su mejor amigo Patricio.

Como dato adicional, este tweet por parte de Nickelodeon generó una grandísima confusión en la prensa y redes sociales debido a que en ningún momento se confirma que dicho personaje es ''homosexual''.
