These were some re-drawn characters from...2001 or 2002. (I forget which.) But I changed their designs a fair amount and set this sketch aside. A couple days ago I showed it to ~JNels and Inspiration struck him! He asked if I was going to use the characters for anything, I gave a negative, and he asked if HE could use 'em, so I said sure. Now he's been writing some scripts (in between writing AROTD, that is) for a comedic fantasy comic called Onward! The first issue will be titled "Onward To Adventure!" And I'll get to be the artist! ...Someday. Eventually. Comic work has still been moving sluggishly for me. I officially call this summer a wash for comicking. Perhaps the fall/winter will be better? (If I keep hoping, one of these seasons I'll hit it right and get stuff done.)

No sense being a Negative Nancy! Things'll happen, eventually. And in the mean time, I can reasonably assure you, the scripts for Onward are looking pretty good.
