Done and done!
I had seen crows before around my school campus, but it was until I took a trip to Oregon in the Winter that I did see ravens. They’re beautiful birds with haunting calls. Alot bigger than I imagined in person. But there was just something about seeing them in the snowy forests that put me in awe of them. Later would I see them again during a Spring trip, getting up close to one named Aristophanes at the Portland Audubon Society. He was just such a gorgeous bird, I couldn’t get enough of him. And while I learned I REALLY hate painting feathers I just HAD to paint one.
While I would of loved to have painted a snowy background , the setting or rising sun is always a beautiful time of day, and I needed to challenge myself with clouds. So bleh
