but the Monkeys are not willing to play
because why give Clemont or Bonnie something like a new Pokémon/Move/Rival when Serena can get Braixen to learn Fire Blast and a pretty Bow and soon catch an Eevee to compete in a Showcase against her rival and Ash can evolve Fletchinder, learn Brave Bird and then get another gym battle where Frogadier may evolve into some magical and in no way stupidly explained Ash/Greninja fusion -.-
