YET ANOTHER UPDATE:Complete overhaul from scratch.My apologies to those that don't don't like updates but if it makes you feel any better I've updated hundreds without alerting alerting watchers so really you should be thanking me......no,seriously!!.

Its just a small church about a mile from where I live in Manchester.I think I might have to go bck and try and find a better angle,its such a great building for such a small church.

Yeah I want to get out and try and snap some more of these type of places.Theres a town hall about 20 minuites bus ride from where I live that is absolutely amazing,I keep meaning to go and get some shots

It was not until recently, after taking an art appreciation course at college, that I found out what Gothic Architecture was. The pointed arched windows and the buttresses on the exterior are a clear indication of that. I'm so proud of myself. LOL It turned out just fine, my friend.

Heheh I used to hate doing art history once a week as part of my college course but now I find I have a lot more appreciation of such things.I wish now I had paid more attention.

i love the tones as probably everyone before me has said
but i specifically like how the lighter bricks agaisnt the darker ones make it look like the building is glowing or almost emiting its own light in some way

I like that too,its mostly the result of HDR post processing and then a fair bit of burning and dodging in photoshop.I might have been a liiiiitle to heavyhanded with it but I like the effect.

It can be very difficult,Ive been trying to get that sort of effect for half an age......well a couple of months anyway. is the absolute king at it.I keep hoping that he'll post a tutorial at some point.

he maybe a master of post work, but his attitude needs major editing and the fact he post one photo a month later which was exactly the same as another only with a different tone or angle change and not say anything is kinda lame.
