Description
Hello DevArt. Finally registered after years of lurking around ^^.0.5 mechanical pencil on 65x50cm paper. Various inspirations but no ref used. Started back in 2004, and worked on it little by little. It's the only thing I drew in almost 3 years, and it's also my first serious try at a background, so any comment/critic welcome!
-"ageha" is "swallowtail butterfly" in japanese
- the white lily in her hair is a symbol of purity
- the volubilis in her hand is a symbol of lost hope
- make your own story

this work, is astonishing. I mean, all done by pencil? when i first looked at it, i figured you used charcoal as well. Very nicely done, and congratulations on the DD.
