Kion would have uncontrollable emotion because of the venom effect, mostly he become more reactive and its hard to control it without tulisa. His mood and emotion is very irregular one moment he could look calm and one second, he can get super angry for no particular reason.
Due to this, in fear of hurting the one he loves this is where he would stepped down as from the lion guard and insert vitani taking his place as the new bearer of the roar.
Although his character has twisted and change, his family and friend still there to help him get through it, by being there for him and try to remind him that he is loved and cared, Vitani and Kovu though still a very tad worried about him due to their fear of him becoming their father. Kovu though, doesnt try to be so open about their feeling on kion as he has been in his paw and tried to push those feeling down while Vitani fails to even hid her feeling for Kion.
