Adelaide's failed bail
Adelaide appeared in bail court three days after being sent to jail. In accordance with the spirit of the law, the unconvicted client attended court without a prison uniform or handcuffs, so she had to change into the work clothes of the waitress at the Men's Leisure Center who had been with her when she was arrested. And she didn't wear shoes when she was arrested, so she doesn't have shoes to go to bail court now. It makes her look sexy - but out of touch with the court, and perhaps that's the heart of her failure today.
Bail court is boring, not much attention, and many. So it took place in a small courtroom, and the gallery was not so crowded.
The Bail Court judge heard from both the Public Prosecution Service and Adelaide and his lawyers. In the end, the judge made a judgment.
"Adelaide, born in Colombia, 31 years old, arrested at his residence in Mukdan on May 13, is now charged with illegal possession of a controlled drug and unlawful sale of a controlled drug"
Adelaide was nervous at this point, even though it was only bail court.
"Unlawful possession of a controlled drug is a misdemeanor charge but unlawful sale of a controlled drug is a felony charge. Given Adelaide's overseas connections and an objective amount of deposits. This court does not uphold bail."
Adelaide opened his mouth in surprise. Behind her, a policeman re-cuffed her hands that had been free for only a few hours.
"Let's go, ma'am. Go back to the prison and change into standard prison uniforms."
