Truant to thought, I begin this early morning rush. With a whisper, a gentle feeling hidden within. A memory grows, returning, the meeting of a lady, a conversation, then the wonder of knowing, it would never be again.
We raised our coffee's, smiling with the sun, warmth bathing, it seemed that the day had just begun. Eyes shut, blocking the radiant wave, I felt the need of sharing, the thought of this day. It was then, while raising my cup, I saw her smiling, enjoying, something that I could not comprehend.
Just the two words that she spoke, with her gentle smile, "Beautiful day!, Remained inside my head. This the moment, that I recall and am thank filled, the street had given me a dream to be recalled.
