I'm very excited about this piece. I feel like it's my first attempt at branching out to something more creative. My art has been fairly representational up until this point, so the change is refreshing.The assignment was to complete a black and white piece and integrate a color wheel (or multiple wheels). I chose to put the color elsewhere and make the "color wheels" completely desaturated.
For anyone interested in the process of this piece I'll be uploading a series of images I took while creating it with some commentary into my scraps gallery. :]
Please excuse the weird coloration. I have a cheap camera
Also ignore the crappy streaky grey... this is the last time I use a stupid crayola marker >:[-----------

tyler, this is beautiful. you did a great job at branching out! i think my favorite part is the hands...they look like yours to me for some reason lol
