Emerald is the brother of queen of Queen labradorite.

Emerald is a soft spoken, and well trained warrior, He may be skilled in combat, and has no problem defending his tribe, yet most of the time can be found carving delicate statues with his only companion, a small snake that is normally somewhere on his cape.

He'd always had a keen interest in art, but he'd never had the tools, skill, or training until after learning combat and military basics. Once he decided he could hold his own in battle, he addressed his more creative side and began learning how to turn stone into art. He didn't exactly have what you would call natural talent, so it took quite awhile until he decided he was happy with his abilities.

He mostly creates stone reliefs and small statues of various living things. His most notable works are of religious figures such as the deities and scenes having to do with alkaline legends, but he has the most fun telling his own stories through slowly chipping away at stone.

At one point others became suspicious of him, spending so much time in his private chambers, they thought he might be planning to take over the throne, he also had orders of supplies delivered to him from unknown places, so it was suspected that he was bringing in weapons or poisons for who knew what. At that point he was rather private about his artistic interest, but once he became aware of the rumors, he showed the tribe what he was actually doing, and became popular because of his religious art. The orders were of art supplies to help himself improve his art.

He always wears a thick silky green cape, no one is sure where he got it from. He keeps the mineral parts covering him relatively filed down in a particular way so that he can move around easily while working, and the spikes on his tail are sharp and small. He has a pet snake that keeps him company while he is working on art.

Alot of dragons think he's the antisocial artistic type, but he's really just quiet and doesn't mind company. No one talks to him mostly because of the bias about him being antisocial, and so it is further proven as no one attempts to talk to him. That's probably why he has his pet snake.
