The blue stone on her forehead reminds me of a Terry Goodkind from his Sword of Truth series. In the book the character was a seer and wore the stone on her forehead to represent her 'third eye'.
Good piece. I like the lighting and the piercing intensity of eyes through the hair.

I love this - the texture and the way her eyes pop out from the rest of the darker, desaturated picture. Nothing better than when someone can take something simple and make it so striking!

Reminds me of the seer character from one of the later books in Terry Goodkind's series. In the book the mark of the seer was a bit of jewelry that would hang the stone in the middle of the forehead like a third eye.
