I feel like this could sum up these two's relationshipΒI freaking hate painting scenery cause i feel like i suck at it... so i want to practice more
I'm playing my part in fulfilling my new made up rule of the internet
#MLP : If it exists, there in a ponified version of it
(This is based on the Disney movie 'Brother Bear' btw... since everyone always seems lost on my movie references...)

Yeah, this is how I imagine as ponified.
Scootaloo as a young pony (pegasus) and Rainbow Dash as a transformed pony as a pegasus (she used to be a person (human) tomboyish hunter with her human friends Twilight and Applejack.
Twilight - symbolism necklace of an ailcorn (pony with horn and wings)
Rainbow - pegasus (pony with wings)
Applejack - honest person but formerly dislikes ponies with wings; she likes "Earth ponies" and sometimes ponies with horns
Seriously, though those expressions are spot-on.

That actually makes a lot of sense tbh-- Twi and AJ fill in the two other roles quite well
(at least now we know what happened to Scootaloo's mother XD..)

That song actually popped into my head the instant I saw the thumbnail. Don't know if it's just because you did such a great job catching the moment, or that I've watched that movie too much... or maybe it's both.

I don't completely remember the second one-- I don't think I cared for it that much cause they introduced a token female character in that one, And I kinda just rolled my eyes a little at it x)

Well, yes, the first movie was definitely better as far as story. Second had its moments though, but I do tend to forward through large portions (particularly the love advice/attempts at moose seduction). It's more about the music for that one - particularly the opening/closing song "Welcome to this Day." Hence why I need the soundtracks more than the movies.

This is lovely! I love the background and shading, but I especially love their expressions. Though it appears you forgot RD's wings (which I'm sure you are aware of by now). But other than that, amazing job :3
EDIT: Ok I realize now that her wings are supposed to be folded at her sides but, it honestly just looks like there isn't any. But, this is still a nice drawing either way
