Suprise they are atcually technically a rogue AI that said "screw managing this factory I'm stuck in, I want to explore the real world!" so they did as they said so and now they are hiding from the company who are trying to track them down because "potential dangerous AI". They now currently chilling out in a rural elf village where they learned about magic and live peacefully with the residents which accepts them as one of their kind.
Tbh might change their lore a bit now but eh this is what it is currently.
