Rattmann and Cube!I experimented a lot in this and had to redo much of it along the way

I think Rattmann is a really cool character. Truly the under-appreciated hero in Portal.

That glowing cube though. I am not familiar with the whole portal story, but this instantly reminded to the companion cube theory of it being a previous experiment subject.
The whole drawing looks like fitting in the whole Portal theme though.

I've heard that theory, but I'm not sold on it. I like the practical reason that the game makers used. And I like the fact that the cube is Rattmann's only companion (and talks with him,) poor guy.

Oh gosh, this is way cool! I love the way you drew Rattmann, and I like the graphic, vector-like style you used for the Companion Cube. (Was it actually done in vector?) Those things are tricky to draw properly but this looks excellent.

Looking back, doing the cube in vector probably would have been more efficient. I was just really careful with the brush here.
