Here is another box art I did for X-Transbots.
It's a repaint of Skids (www.deviantart.com/a-loft-on-c… ) with a new head (inspired by the G1 toys) and a deco inspired by the anime serie "You're Under Arrest" (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You%27re… )
As this one was inspired by an anime, I changed the usual style I do for X-transbots boxes (traditional media just stainted on 'toshop) to something more "simple" with black inking and flat colors and lighting. Still, I kept the "traditionnal" approach foor the background to emulate the style of the anime.
I'm not totally happy with the composition of this one. I design the pose of the robot before I got the final box size. So the human characters are a little bit overlapping and it creates a void between the legs of the robot right in the middle. But ho well .... you can't control everything.
