Inspired by the song, Her Name is Alice, written and performed by Shinedown, I have created this piece. It involves me, the one who has not a tinge of blonde on her head, but still remains to fit the stereotype with her curiosity and ignorance. I am amongst my family members, the one's who surround me. My mom, being the Queen of the Household, she is Queen of Wonderland. The Mad Hatter is called that for nothing, my sister enjoys decorating her naturally curly locks with outrageous hats, which I adore. The Rabbit who's late for a very important date, is the one who slows down time for me, and puts me in a world of make believe, my [black] dwarf rabbit, Danny. And last but not least, the feline who directs me in various incorrect directions, the Cheshire Cat, my dad. Everyone plays a role in my world. This is my world, influenced by the upcoming Disney/Tim Burton film, Alice in Wonderland. With my ipod glued to my ears, I am in another world when listening to Shinedown. Through the looking glass, nothing is what it seems.
