So I’ve recently taken to sketching digitally - refining it a little, printing it off then tracing important lines to watercolour paper for painting. I intended to do that with Riddler but I do not know how to make his face work?! I went off a few references I could find from Arkham Knight for this, plus a couple of people I know who have similar face/eye or nose shapes I kinda probably over analysed every detail of his face… I inverted it, flipped it upside down - everything to try and see what looked off (tricking my mind into just seeing the shapes)
Sooo I give up - but now its too late to prep it for painting so I thought I’d put the sketch up here and see if I feel like painting it tomorrow after exhibition set up.
Since this is just the ‘pre-paint’ sketch its messy, theres shadows I might forget marked and once that I will remember not marked - so the shading probably looks a bit strange. Its basically the lines I’d need for getting started and a reference sheet for myself on areas that need to be darker or a different tone
