A couple more days passed as Diane found herself waking up after another very long slumber. Still blissfully unaware of the sheer chaos that she was causing by her presence and actions. Her awakening was followed by a very long stretch as she breathed in the fresh air around her.
The sun was shining brightly and the warm of the sun's rays was pleasant on her skin. From what she could feel thanks to her seismic sense. There wasn't anything that she considered to be a threat around her. She could sense a lot of animals around her, but from her point of view. They were all very small.
At one point, she had been able to sense the presence of some large animals. But one by one, they had been disappearing over the last few weeks. This was something that she had found to be quite odd, not fully realising that she was the cause of their decline. Instead, she simply considered that they had simply gone out of range of her seismic sense.
"That was a nice nap," said Diane to herself as was standing to her full height. The fact that she was talking to herself had more or less gone unnoticed. What else had gone unnoticed to her was the fact that her so called nap had lasted a full twenty hours. "Nothing beats having a nice little sleep for such a big girl like me." There was a smile on her face as she said this, but there was something in the back of her mind. It was as if it was trying to remember something that had long been forgotten. This caused her to place her finger on her chin as she tried to think. "Wait, isn't there something I'm supposed to do? I have the strangest feeling that I'm forgetting something."
The elongated giantess continued to stand there and think about what she was trying to remember. However, her mind simply was blank on the matter and she didn't think it was too important if she had forgotten it. There was something that she did begin to remember once she heard a familiar sound. Originating from her stomach, she looked down and gave it an pulled a face that clearly showed that she was annoyed by it.
"Ok quieten down!" said Diane as if she was actually speaking to a person. "I know you want food, just give me a minute." Her stomach growled again, once again making it seem as though it was a sentient being. "Fine, I'll find something for you. But you better not moan at me if you don't like it!"
Diane began to use her seismic sense abilities in order to try and sense anything that she could eat. Besides the small creatures that were around her, there still didn't seem to be anything that was worth her time. The tiny critters that she could sense would do nothing to take the edge off of her hunger.
In response to this, the elongated giantess lifted up her foot and then slammed it into the ground. This sent a tremor throughout the entire ground which did increase the range of her seismic sense. For a few brief moments, she could sense everyone and everything in contact with the ground in Britannia.
Suddenly, she was able to sense something that another very large creature that was around a hundred miles south of where she was currently standing. Even from her elevated point of view, she couldn't see exactly what it was. However, this didn't seem to be a problem for her as she was confident that she was going to satisfy her hunger in the very near future. Also the long distance that she would have to travel was a relatively short walk for someone of her stature.
With each step that Diane took, brought her closer and closer to the giant creature that she could sense. Much to her relief, it seemed to be stationary which would hopefully mean that she wouldn't have to chase it down at all. Sometimes, chasing the creatures that she was about to consume could be fun, but other times it was more of an annoyance.
Loud growls continued to be generated from her stomach as it was looking forward to the meal to come. But there was one thing that she hadn't realised though. The tremors that she was creating was also a source of great fear to the people of Britannia. Whenever they felt the tremors generated by her footsteps, they would know that Diane was on the move.
For four hours every day, practically everyone in the country would be fearful of her presence. Not knowing whether their settlement would be the next to be struck. All their food would be gone once she passed through, leaving them with mere scraps to survive on until their reserves could be replenished.
Once more, Diane was completely unaware of her new status and was simply continuing on with her walk as she stepped closer and closer to the giant creature. For the moment, she didn't know what exactly what it was that she was sensing. All she knew was that it was big and she hoped that it would be able to satisfy her hunger.
It wasn't too long before she could actually see the creature that she had been able to sense. Just off in the distance, she could see what looked to be cow that was several times larger than it was supposed to be. Although it was gigantic in size, it was still very small in comparison to the elongated giantess. It also seemed to be lying on the ground which only made things seem easier for her as well.
Diane's anticipation to satisfy her hunger was making her blind several things that were very abnormal. The first was just how large the cow actually was. Its stature made it larger than a regular building and what made it even stranger was that rather than lying down by choice. It was instead tied down to the ground with several chains making sure that it couldn't move from where it was.
Normally this would have brought up red flags in the mind of Diane as it was clear that this was some kind of trap. Her seismic senses did alert her to the fact that there was someone nearby who seemed quite large in their own right. But to her, they weren't that much of a threat. Instead, her only focus was on the gigantic cow that was just in front of her.
"It looks so yummy," said Diane as she approached the cow. The simple sight of it made her stomach growl louder and made it clear that she was anticipating the meal to come. The cow on the other hand was in a state of panic as it struggled to tried to free itself from the chains that kept it tied down. Unfortunately, this was not a task that it was going to achieve as it simply couldn't free itself.
The elongated giantess knelt down to the cow as she grabbed onto the chains so that she could free it. However, this wasn't out of the goodness of her heart as she didn't think that she would be able to properly eat it if it was still tied down. At this moment in time, satisfying her hunger was the only thing on her mind.
"Hey, you overgrown freak!" shouted a voice that she had never seen before. This did catch Diane's attention as she looked towards where the voice had come from. There, she could see probably the tallest human being that she had ever seen. However, thanks to her own sheer size, this was a fact that was lost on her. At that moment in time, all she saw was a rival to her upcoming meal. "Why don't you try picking on someone your own size!"
Something else that Diane didn't realise was that she had actually met this person before. When they did, the latter was too small for the elongated giantess to see. It was indeed Natasha who had stepped out of her hiding place. Even though she was huge in her own right, her overall stature was still nothing compared to Diane.
"This is my meal!" replied Diane with a far from pleased expression on her face. Quickly, she turned to Natasha and slowly stood up to her full height. This was indeed intimidating for Natasha as she couldn't help but feel very small. "You can't have any!"
"Come on Nadine," stated Natasha quietly to herself as she looked up at the bizarre giantess in front of her. "Now would be a good time to help me."
No sooner had she said this, Diane heard the voice of someone else. However, this time they were speaking words that she didn't recognise at all. This did cause her to look over and see what to her was the tiny figure of Nadine not far away. There did look to be something in her hands, but it was impossible for the elongated giantess to tell what it was.
However, what happened next was definitely noticed. A tornado like wind suddenly appeared around Diane much to her surprise and she began to look around in confusion. Her natural instinct was to step out from the vortex itself but this was something that was simply impossible for her to do. Every time she tried; she was pushed back with enough force to almost knock her off of her feet.
Suddenly she began to be lifted off the ground which was something that was almost thought to be impossible and she too also found herself spinning. At first, it was her rotations were quite slow but as the moments went by, it happened faster and faster. This made her lose her bearings as her rotations quickly matched the tornado that was around her.
The next thing that Diane also felt was the sensation of her flying through the air. What she didn't realise was that she was reducing in size as she and the top of the tornado was being sucked into a glass bottle in the hands of Nadine. The spellcaster was struggling to keep her hands on the bottle as the vortex and the elongated giantess were being sucked inside. They could hear the confused cries of Diane as the process continued.
Eventually, both towering being and tornado had seemed to be sucked into the bottle in Nadine's hand. However, the struggle wasn't finished yet as the spellcaster still needed to place the cork on the bottle or else Diane would be able to escape. This was a deed that was easier said than done as Nadine felt a lot of resistance as she attempted to place the cork on top of the bottle.
With all of her strength, the spellcaster was able to get the task done as the cork slipped into place and sealed the bottle itself. She then began to hear what seemed to be a knocking sound on the glass bottle itself. As she looked inside, she could see what now seemed to be the tiny figure of Diane striking her fists on the glass as she tried to free herself. But such a task was impossible as she was trapped inside of the battle. The once powerful giantess who had unintentionally made herself the greatest threat that Britannia had ever seen. Was now in imprisoned inside of a glass bottle that had once contained around a pint or two of milk.
