Description Drumrole please… It's BOLT! One of my best pieces this year, I have to admit. My scanner did not like this piece, though, because of all the red, so it killed it slightly. Even so, it's a personal best. ^_^

I love the film Bolt, it's the first children's film in a great many years that Disney has put out on its own that is actually any good.

Done on 8.5" X 11" mild-red cardstock with Prismacolor pencils. It took me about 3-4 hours.

Magnificent rendition of the character! The proportions are perfect, and his expression is great!

By the way, thank you very much for mentioning how long it took you to complete this composition. Often times, I'll wander across such brilliance as this and notice that the artist did not state the time frame used to finish their work; as a result, I usually assume that it took them around half an hour or more to do their drawing. Your sketch proved me wrong, so... thanks!
