Description
Well, this took me close to 5 hours! But im very very happy with the end results...I think this is the first time where a concept has turned out exactly like i wanted! It's a good feeling....Ok, just like to explain a few things because a few people have asked me whether or not this was manipulated. The answer is no because everything was held up with strings.

Oh, and instead of string, try fishing line. Its super thin and clear, so editing it out may be easier if you have to at all.

Very cool illusion. Worth the time, for sure!
I think its cooler that you actually set it up instead of manipulating it.

Well, close to 2 hours setting up and another 3 hours of editing. I'm probably more used to faster concepts lol. And thanks!

This is brilliant. You did a fantastic job editing out the strings, and I think you captured it wonderfully.

I love it! Did the set up take this long or just the editing?

The set-up didn't actually take as long as i expected but the editing was quite the opposite because removing strings without making bits of the photo look strange took a while. and Thankyou!

I just have to ask how you did this, very interesting. Did this have any photo manipulation done to it or was it tied up with a string?

There were 2 strings tied around the cup and another 2 tied to the teapot. The strings were tied from different directions so that the teapot and the cup could stay in that position (string was secured by tape at the back where u can't see and tied to clothing lines up above which you also can't see). Then i filled the teapot with water and started taking continuous shots and kept refilling the pot. I know it would've been faster if it was manipulated but i think the water would've looked extra fake if i did...(im not THAT competent at photoshop).
I hope that answers your question! I wouldn't have submitted it to your competition if it were photo-manipulated (i read the rules very carefully!)
