I've been adding a lot of studies as of late and this is one of my earlier water color studies. I love color and pattern and this was a great subject to explore both themes in. I usually work from my photos (I'm terribly shy painting in front of others) and this was taken at my local koi pond. I did a whole series of fish, but this one I gave away. Kinda wish I hadn't lol.Related content
