it would be nice if you could also write a little description of what some of those steps entailed, such as the quite large jump in rendering the skin texture on the last part, was there some sort of technique besides just hours of painting to get the texture and lighting for instance? good job!

Looks like you added noise for the last step to create the pores. Might have used a brush or textures as well. The highlights on the nose finish it off. Great work.
