I'd try looking of a tutorial on smoke affects in PS. Yours look cool, but they look more like solid objects, rather than smoke. The smoke next to the guys are is more like smoke. The rest is too thick. I'm not a pro at PS, I just think something looks off.
I think there should be some more depth from the guy and the ground too. I like the design a lot. You have some seperation with the lights on the guy and darks on the ground, but I think there could be more to really pop that guy out.
