Death Note owns.And I LOVE L.
I sketched this out today at Barnes and Noble while my wife was reading the manga. I got her hooked on the show so bad, she's reading ahead!

Yes it just came out a few weeks to a month ago here in Japan! It's called "L - Change the World" I think. At least, I saw "Change the World" a whole lot... It's about what L was doing and going through the last days before he signed his name. Maybe when it leaves theaters someone will subtitle it and put it online?

The story seems to deviate from that of the anime and manga considerably. I must say, however, that the anime is amazing and comes at a high recommendation!
Still, I'll have to look into this L movie.
