Back in 2016 if you all remember Jeremy and I divorced. I had to move back home and live under my parent's rule for a year. I was forced to stop living as male, stop my H.R.T. and hide Gethin away again.

I never told my family that this painting was of him. Of Gethin being forced back into darkness and loneliness of a locked coffin with chains and buried deep in my psyche again.

I nearly killed myself that year. This painting kept reminding me that I was still that man. That he was still there clawing at the "door" of my mind. It's what kept me alive.

This painting means more to me than money or gold.
It's a portrait of the pain I have suffered for 15 years now to be me.

I am still fighting an uphill battle for my surgeries.
