Description   'Link, can I talk to you?'
'Huh?' Link looked up from patting Epona. Rusl was standing in front of him. 'Sure, what do you need?'
'Well, all the children have been begging their families to go to Kakariko. So Bo asked me if I could take them, but-'
'You can't. So you're asking me to take them.' Link finished.
'You got it. It will be good for you. You barely ever leave your house; everyone is getting worried about you.'
'Yeah, okay. I'll take them.' Link agreed casually, but inside he was thrilled.
'Thank you, Link. I owe you one.'
'So, when do we leave?' Link asked
'Tomorrow, I'm going to get the carriage ready now.' With that, Rusl turned and walked down the path to the village.
Link sighed, "Why is Rusl so lazy?" he thought to himself. Then he smiled, this was what he had been praying for everyday and night. He was going on another adventure! Well, compared to his previous adventure, going to Kakariko village with a bunch of kids wasn't exactly exciting, but Link could leave the kids with Renado and go on a real adventure. "Thank you Goddesses." Link muttered as he fed Epona a carrot.

Link couldn't sleep that night. He had so many feelings rushing through his body. He was happy because he was going to Kakariko, he was sad because he missed Midna, he felt kind of guilty for wanting to leave Ordon, he felt angry at himself for feeling tied down by the village, and strangest of all, he felt a kind of nervous excitement, as if something big was going to happen.

Link woke up early the next morning. After the oil incident yesterday he decided to skip breakfast. Link smiled as he remembered his great adventure to Kakariko. "I might as well…" He thought, looking over at the green tunic, folded neatly on the floor. A few minutes later Link was dressed in his hero's clothes. Glancing at a clock, he decided to take a walk round the village. Everyone was asleep, and Ordon was silent. Then Link saw a figure in the distance, standing on the bridge just outside the Mayor's house. It was Ilia.
'Has Rusl told you about the trip to Kakariko?' Ilia asked, as Link walked over and stood next to her.
'Yeah, somehow I got dragged into taking them all. Are you coming too?'
'Yes, I haven't properly thanked Renado and Luda for looking after me when I lost my memory.'
Link looked away sadly as he remembered the time when Ilia didn't even recognize him. 'I should go and get Epona ready now.' He said, walking away.

Once inside his house, Link climbed the ladder up to the top floor and watched the sunrise from his window. He thought about Midna. He knew she was in the Twilight Realm as the princess, but he couldn't see her. Just before she left, Midna shattered the Mirror of Twilight with a tear. The only link between the two worlds had gone, and Link and Midna could never see each other again.

Link heard a voice calling him and he looked down. Rusl was standing outside Link's house next to the carriage. 'Are you ready, Link?' He asked.
'Yep, give me a second.' Link jumped down onto the first floor of his house and back flipped into the cellar. He paused as he waited for his eyes to adjust to the darkness. When he could see properly, Link walked over to the chest at the far end, which used to contain a purple rupee. He opened it and had to shield his eyes. Where the purple rupee had once been, now was the mythical blade to repel evil, the Master Sword. When Midna had left Link and Zelda at the mirror chamber, Link had returned the sword to its pedestal in the sacred grove, as Zelda had told him to, and he returned home to Ordon. However, Link went back to the sacred grove and took back the Master Sword, as a memento of his adventure with Midna. Holding the sword in his hands, Link closed his eyes and remembered his epic fight against Ganondorf, and Midna's true form.

'Link! Are you ready yet?' Rusl yelled from outside. Link quickly sheathed the Master Sword and went outside. He jumped down and helped Rusl fasten Epona to the carriage. Then all the kids arrived, and Link helped them onto the carriage. Malo and Talo were inside, and Colin and Beth were at the back. When everybody was safely on, Link got on the front.
'Can I sit next to you, Link?'
'Huh?' It was Ilia. 'Oh, sure.' Link replied, moving over to make room for her. Then all the villagers arrived to say goodbye to their children. Uli's baby daughter waved to her big brother as they set off to Kakariko village.
Link smiled to himself as they entered Hyrule field. Last time he had done something in Rusl's place Link had been turned into a wolf and gone on a crazy quest to save a princess he had barely even heard of. He wasn't complaining though. If he hadn't agreed to deliver the sword to the royal family Link would never have met Midna.

  'Link!'
'Huh?' He turned to see Ilia staring at him, a slight look of concern in her eyes.
'Link, are you even listening to me?'
'Oh, sorry, Ilia, I was just thinking.'
  'Thinking about what?'
'Nothing. It's not important.' Link said, shaking his head.
'Okay.' They continued in silence, until they heard a scream from the back. The hairs on the back f Link's neck stood up as a warning that something bad was about to happen.
'Link! Help!' Beth cried from behind them.
'What the?!' Link yelled turning around. A Kargaroc was hovering just behind the carriage, but it wasn't a normal Kargaroc, it was a giant Kargaroc at least three times the size of Link and covered in steel armour. Link took action immediately. 'Everyone, inside the carriage! Now!' He yelled. 'Ilia, take the reins. I'll handle our little friend here.' Link climbed on top of the carriage so he was level with the monstrous bird-like creature. He swung his sword left and right to try and make the Kargaroc retreat; he wasn't in the mood for fighting. However, when the Kargaroc didn't back off and started ramming into the carriage, Link knew he had to get serious. After regaining his balance, he started slicing at the monster, but its strong armour protected it.
It was then that Link saw what it was carrying. A bomb. Link had an idea. He started reaching for his bow, but he wasn't fast enough. The Kargaroc lunged at Link and he was nearly thrown off the carriage. Swinging himself back up, Link saw his chance and seized it. He swung his sword at the bomb. Link didn't know what happened next. He heard a thunderous boom ringing in his ears. He could hear screaming but it sounded far away. He vaguely remembered a bird shape flying away, then everything went black.
