Oh ok, I can see some of the face better in this now. The spider/predator mandibles are a nice touch. I can now see how you shaded the muscles of the legs, body, and arms to look like the texture of muscles under the skin: all stringy and fibrous looking. He may be a weak general, but he's got a lot of effort put into him.
The only improvements I can see to help this are on his face. The horns on the top of his head could point a bit more to his right and the nose a bit more to his left. Very subtle stuff. Great work dude.
